2.1 | 1 | SMART Notebook is the software that is associated with SMART Boards. The software enables you to do things like annotate and draw on your screen with or without a smartboard, and also gives you SMART Notebooks that you can write in as well as use a variety of other learning tools and features (e.g. interactive onscreen calculator, protractor, clipart, images, etc). Without the SMART Notebook software, the SMART Board simply acts as a mouse or touchpad for the computer. The SMART Notebook software is what provides the features and benefits of having a SMART Board. |
